Abba Kidanemariam Negatu - President
Abba Kidanemariam Negatu is a revered priest in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and the visionary founder of Ahadu Christian Academy. With a Master’s Degree in Theology from Justo Mwale University in Zambia, he has devoted his life to teaching Christian Ethics, interpreting the Holy Scriptures, and offering spiritual guidance to the church community.
Driven by a profound commitment to faith formation and academic excellence, Abba Kidanemariam established Ahadu Christian Academy as a beacon of Christ-centered education. His leadership is rooted in the belief that true learning integrates both spiritual depth and intellectual growth.
As President of the Board of Trustees, he provides both spiritual oversight and strategic direction, ensuring that the Academy remains faithful to its mission of nurturing students who embody wisdom, integrity, and godly character.

Netsereab Demissie - CPA, Board Treasurer
Netsereab Demissie is a Certified Public Accountant with several years of experience in nonprofit accounting and financial leadership.
As Board Treasurer of Ahadu Christian Academy, Netsereab brings strong financial stewardship, integrity, and accountability rooted in Christian values. He is committed to supporting the school’s Christ-centered mission through sound financial oversight, transparent reporting, and responsible management of resources to ensure long-term sustainability for the academy and its community.

Dr. Ergeba Sheferaw
Dr. Sheferaw is a board-certified radiologist at Advanced Radiology with a passion for excellence in medicine and education.
As Secretary of the Board, she ensures strong governance, documentation, and strategic follow-through for Ahadu Christian Academy.
With a heart for faith-based leadership and youth development, Dr. Sheferaw brings clarity, discipline, and vision to the school’s founding journey.

Kebebush Tesfaye
Kebebush Tesfaye brings a rich background in grassroots education, cultural leadership, and community service to the board of Ahadu Christian Academy.
A graduate of Addis Ababa University with a degree in Library and Information Science, she currently serves as an Electronics Troubleshooting Specialist at the University of Maryland, College Park.Beyond her professional role, she is a passionate advocate for preserving Ethiopian heritage among diaspora families. For several years, she has taught Amharic and Bible studies to children through virtual platforms and has organized numerous cultural events throughout Montgomery County as well as the DMV area. Her dedication to teaching Ethiopian history, language, and faith has impacted many young lives and strengthened cultural identity within the Ethiopian-American community.
At Ahadu Christian Academy, she brings her deep experience in grassroots education, her heart for children, and her commitment to faith and culture to support the mission of nurturing students in both spirit and academic excellence.
